Broker Sync

Eliminate manual broker trip re-entry

With Broker Sync, The Dispatcher can auto-import broker trips so they can eliminate manual data entry — resulting in faster driver dispatch.

The Problem

The Core Problem
Manual re-entry of broker trips wastes hours per day and creates billing errors that delay payment.
The Scenario
A dispatcher receives 40 trip assignments from Modivcare by 8 AM every morning.
Why It's Urgent
Each trip must be copied from the broker portal into MediRoutes including patient name, addresses, appointment time, level of service, and authorization number.
Without MediRoutes
This takes 2 to 3 hours each morning, introduces typos that cause address errors in the field, and means a missed entry equals a missed patient pickup.
With MediRoutes
Trips appear automatically within 30 seconds of broker assignment. The dispatcher reviews and dispatches with no data entry needed.

Who This Helps

The Dispatcher
office-based, managing 5 to 50 trips per day, often scheduling, handling customer calls, and billing simultaneously. Frustrated by hours spent copying trips from broker portals and by the errors that follow.
Frustrations
  • Hours spent copying trips from broker portals
  • Constant interruptions from status calls
  • No visibility into real-time driver positions
Pain Points
  • Manual processes limit daily trip capacity
  • One late driver creates cascade across the whole day
Ideal Workflow
Review auto-imported trips, confirm assignments with one click, monitor fleet from a single screen
The Fleet Owner
owns 2 to 20 vehicles, managing people, compliance, and razor-thin margins. Frustrated by missed trips and billing delays caused by data entry mistakes they did not make themselves.
Frustrations
  • Cannot tell which runs are profitable until month-end
  • Losing money on certain broker contracts unknowingly
  • Audit exposure from incomplete documentation
Pain Points
  • Razor-thin margins with no per-trip visibility
  • Scaling requires proportionally more staff
Ideal Workflow
See real-time margin per trip, auto-enforce contract rules, pass audits with GPS-verified records

Common Questions

Modivcare, MTM/Veyo, SafeRide Health, and Alivi have named integrations. Any broker using the standard webhook format can connect through the Generic Broker framework.
The trip enters your queue. You can decline it through the broker's portal or post it to the MediRoutes overflow network for another provider to accept.
For trip import and status updates, no. You may still need the portal for authorizations, disputes, or specific billing steps the broker has not opened to API access.
MediRoutes flags mismatches against your existing patient records and asks you to confirm before creating the trip, preventing ghost records from accumulating.
Within 30 seconds for brokers with active API connections. File-based imports may take up to the next polling cycle (default 60 seconds).
Configurable per broker. Each broker connection has a level-of-service mapping table so their codes translate correctly to your ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, and basic life support types.
