Live Tracking

See every vehicle position in real time

With Live Tracking, The Dispatcher can see all vehicles in real time so they can catch delays before patients call — resulting in higher on-time pickup rate.

The Problem

The Core Problem
Dispatchers cannot proactively manage delays because they do not know a vehicle is behind schedule until the patient calls.
The Scenario
It is 9:45 AM. A driver has 3 stops left and is stuck in unexpected traffic.
Why It's Urgent
The dispatcher has 8 other vehicles to manage and no visibility into which ones are running late.
Without MediRoutes
The dispatcher learns about the delay when the 10:15 AM patient calls at 10:25 AM. It is now too late to re-dispatch without missing the appointment.
With MediRoutes
LiveFleet Map™ turns the vehicle yellow at 9:50 AM. The dispatcher moves the 10:15 trip to a nearby vehicle at 9:52 AM. The patient gets an updated Where's My Ride notification. No call made.

Who This Helps

The Dispatcher
currently flying blind without live visibility. Relies on radio calls and gut instinct to know if a vehicle will make it on time. Frustrated by finding out about delays only when the patient calls.
Frustrations
  • Hours spent copying trips from broker portals
  • Constant interruptions from status calls
  • No visibility into real-time driver positions
Pain Points
  • Manual processes limit daily trip capacity
  • One late driver creates cascade across the whole day
Ideal Workflow
Review auto-imported trips, confirm assignments with one click, monitor fleet from a single screen
The Fleet Owner
broker scorecard ratings drop when on-time performance slips, but without live visibility there is no way to prevent it in the moment.
Frustrations
  • Cannot tell which runs are profitable until month-end
  • Losing money on certain broker contracts unknowingly
  • Audit exposure from incomplete documentation
Pain Points
  • Razor-thin margins with no per-trip visibility
  • Scaling requires proportionally more staff
Ideal Workflow
See real-time margin per trip, auto-enforce contract rules, pass audits with GPS-verified records

Common Questions

LiveFleet Mapu2122 updates every 10 to 15 seconds from the Driver App. The display shows the timestamp of the last GPS event for each vehicle.
No. It is a dispatcher tool. Clients and facilities access vehicle location through Where's My Ride, which shows their specific vehicle only.
Green means on schedule within a 5-minute buffer. Yellow means ETA suggests arrival 5 to 15 minutes late. Red means ETA suggests 15 or more minutes late or the driver has not moved in an unexpected window.
Clicking a completed trip shows the GPS breadcrumb trail, which is also used for Driver Insights reporting and ServiceProof GPSu2122 attestation.
Full functionality is available in the MediRoutes dashboard, which runs in any browser on any device.
It shows the current day's active vehicles. Historical GPS data for previous days is available in the reporting module.
